To David, A Very Warm Happy Birthday From Me.

I wanted to post something on this particular day because it's the great David Bowie's birthday. You probably already guessed what this post is about. Yes, this whole writing is all about my love, dedication, and gratefulness for this legend. So... here we go~

First off all, I wanted to thank David for being himself (yes that include for his many many personas) because without him, I'm pretty sure a lot of things won't be existed until this very day. His music and performances sure changed the world into something more colourful.
And that's just his effect on this wide society. I must mention his effect on each individual who listens to his music.

We already know the fact that how amazing music can touch people's hearts with it's melody or lyrics. And David Bowie had done that perfectly. He used his music to comfort, to encourage, to make you less scared, or to make you less alone. His music contained such a beautiful and amazing melody with such a complex feelings every time we listen to it. And don't even mention how his music inspired a lot of people. Young and old, female or male, it doesn't matter.

He also used his music to criticize how the world spin. Facism, racism, sexual harassment, abuse, violence, capitalism, to religious matter he had done it.

He himself was as great as his art actually. He possessed this good traits of personality. He's extremely funny and kind hearted man. I know I can't say this blatantly because I haven't seen him (or I can't) in a person. But I do watched a lot of his interviews, and read a lot of article that really showed his personality. He's very kind, understanding, funny, and unique man. Once I watched his 80s interview where he wanted to smoke (we all know that David smoked, like a lot) and he asked to his interviewer that is it okay if he smoke. Like, I don't know about any other artist, but that's the most understanding and sensible thing a famous person could asked for other people. Like, seriously.

And that's just one in a million reason evidences of how understanding he is. He also fascinated by other cultures works in this world and respected it.

Plus, he's this extremely talented piece of art. He could do anything, you just need too name it. Singing, playing various instruments, drawing, painting, writing, composing, sculpting, miming (is that the actual word?) are just the examples of many.

Okay I sounded like I'm exaggerating a lot of things, but I just said (or typed... whatever) what it must to be said. David Bowie was a great human being that deserved a proper recognition, respect,  and love.

So here's one from mine. Happy birthday David, thank you for everything you've ever done to me and to this world. You help me through so much and I just wanted to say, I can't thank you enough. Rest in piece, and I love you so very much,

Fadhila
